It's not the lightest for a good reason. We've selected this fabric for our floors because it is durable enough to be used without a separate footprint in most cases, and because it is significantly more puncture resistant than other fabric we've tried. For other tarps, lay the floor under your pitched tarp.  Then, measure the distance from the floor's corners to the tarp's associated corner.
