To match the lighter weight material, they are designed to be more minimalistic. For example, instead of the one-handed cinch to adjust the wrist opening, this version takes a more \"set it and forget it\" approach.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe size of the wrist opening is adjusted using a simple cord lock and shock cord cinch.  While the stock sil version also uses a cord lock and shock cord, to achieve the one-handed operation, a heavier cord lock is needed which requires a much heaftier 1\/8\" shock cord. Compare that to the 1\/16\" shock cord used on the DCF version.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile the simplicity is nice, the DCF version is more challenging to put on since the opening is pre-cinched, and it's a bigger pain to adjust it.  The narrower shock cord is nice because it's less likely to reduce circulation if you happen to overtighten it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eWeight:\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSmall:\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMedium:\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLarge: \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eSizing: \u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eOrdering\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI will have a small initial quantity available to US customers for testing.
