A month ago, we launched the 1P Cirriform SW with a 'Light' build yet to come. Now it's here, and it's a full 3 oz (85g) lighter!
The 'Light' and 'Standard' use the same integrated design: floor, mesh, and fly are one piece. The difference is in the materials. The Light uses a Sil/Sil floor rather than Sil/PU, which reduces weight but also loses some puncture resistance. The netting drops from 0.6 oz to 0.5 oz: lighter, but slightly more prone to snagging. Visually, the only real difference is the floor color: the Light is brown, the Standard is black.
The SW is our go-to for super streamlined trips. If you want low weight with a small pack size, the Light build is a great choice.
